Designs can be with schoolchildren in clay and cast in aluminium, painted and then assembled in situ. The Guisborough Timecircle Design in Bakehouse Square, Guisborough, Cleveland is one such design cretaed in this way. It is over four metres in diameter and consists of over forty individual castings designed and created by local schoolchildren.
