Playground Sculptures
Customer Testimonials
"I had been looking for a suitable sculpture for local park when I came across Playground Sculptures from the website and after speaking to Andrew on the phone it confirmed that we thought he would be a good choice. I am extremely pleased with the butterfly sculptures which really add something special and unique to the site. The work is of very high quality and very good value and would recommend Andrew and Playground sculptures to everyone."

Playground Sculptures recently supplied us with a large ammonite fossil to form the centrepiece of a cobbled floor base in a sensory garden I have designed for Wendell Park School in Hammersmith.
The ammonite is beautiful and has added a real wow factor to this part of the garden - children and adults alike are loving it! Many thanks Andy for your rapid response and good customer service.

The children love the sculptures and hopefully we can add to them as and when we can find some more funding. We really like the idea of our creative garden.
The children were delighted on their return from the summer break to find that 'fairies' had visited and brought some sculptures for their garden. All year groups investigated the sculptures andpronounced them "useful, exciting and creative".
Staff have envisaged them being used in all areas of the curriculum but especially for science and creative writing. All we need now is the nice weather to be able to be out using them. We also hope to add more to the garden and make it grow. We look forward to working again with Playground Sculptures on developing more new ideas."

"I've had some very positive responses about the newts, 'Best thing Stockton Council have ever spent money on' was one and 'Cool, Well done!' was another."
Terry Douthwaite, Stockton Council Open Spaces Management Team.
"This project brought the curriculum alive for children. They were inspired by the creative process and were keen to develop their work. The project formed the basis for a topic covering a terms work. Staff and children enjoyed the work immensely and enthused about the work they were doing.
The children responded well to Andy who encouraged and supported them in their work but who also demanded high standards and had high expectations. The finished product is now enjoyed by all children and is used as an area to develop play, an area of reflection and a seated area."
Maggie Fearnley, Headteacher, Roseberry Primary School, Billingham, Tees Valley.
The beautiful crafted memorial created to remember the life of Abigail Iles is a poignant reminder for all the children within our school. Children use the bench to reflect on how Abigail brought happiness, kindness and gentleness to all those who came into contact with her. The sculptor was more than happy to design the bench with the help of Abigail's parents and friends. The use of butterflies symbolise Abigail's life.

" Playground Sculptures delivered some wonderful Ammonite casts well within time to be able to be placed into the gable ends of our newly built self-catering cottage. They look really impressive and distinctive, and many positive remarks have been received by the guests staying at 'Studio Cottage'."

St Peters Church, Wellesbourne, Warwickshire
I have recently had the pleasure of working with Andrew on a community project in Wellesbourne. Andrew worked with us running a community workshop with local children to produce ideas for the two pieces of artwork being installed in the church grounds. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed the day and when the work was completed the feedback we received was all very positive and the installations couldn’t have gone any smoother; with the finished sculpture designs being fantastic. One resident said “they have exceeded all my exceptions” with another saying “the dragonfly is stunning”. I would not hesitate to work with Andrew again, with his professional manner and outstanding ideas makes him a great artist to work with.

Hi Andy, I thought you might like to see this photo of the caterpillar in-situ, I think it looks great. I’ll also send you one of the toadstools once the planting has been completed.
