Pear Sculptures

Playground Sculptures pears are cast in stone and available as whole or half pieces. They make superb focal points and imaginative yet informal seating. The whole pear comes with a solid bronze stem while the half pears can have bronze pips, stem and end pieces or stone as required.

Cast stone is a type of coloured concrete and therefore these sculptures can have the occassional air hole or weathermark. Efforvescence is rare but may also occur when left outside due to the salts in the material. This should rub or wash off and should not detract from the sculptures which are intended to weather and age, adding character and depth to the material.
