Bullrush Wetland Vehicle Barriers

Bullrush Vehicle Entrance Barriers. These forged steel vehicle barriers were individually designed and created by Playground Sculptures for Tees Valley Wildlife Trust and installed at the entrance points to Coatham Marsh, Redcar.

The artworks allow pedestrian, wheel and push chair access but prevent vehicle access. A functional need was addressed with a decorative and attractive feature which combines imagery from the marsh with those of the distant Eston Hills and former ICI chemical plant. Dimensions - 1600mm (h) x 1400 – 150cm (w).
